Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Apr 18, 2009 10:24 pm I was at the home show this afternoon and saw these displayed, they are verticals with material "over" them and they look like a drape, well sort of . Thought that they may be good on my sliding doors as I am unsure of what to put on them. Does anyone have these? Appreciate any feedback Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Any thoughts on these "verticals"? 2Apr 18, 2009 10:29 pm g'day till they look interested, did you get any more info on them? It was at the Vista Blinds booth, they are called sheerfold blinds, "soft fold louvres which can be controlled by rotating the louvres from see through to privacy". I am not too sure what Luxaflex duettes are Joles, whill google them Seeing all of my windows in has really scared me too and the size of some of them also Re: Any thoughts on these "verticals"? 6Apr 18, 2009 10:43 pm joles I refuse to think about my windows and what will go on them. I pretend it's not happening! I wish I could also, but it's hard when I go to see the house and the damn things are there staring at me Re: Any thoughts on these "verticals"? 7Apr 18, 2009 10:53 pm Tillie, they look like the Luminettes, which are made by Luxaflex and a few other companies. (Duettes are up and down ones not vertical ) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Michelle also posted some close up pics of them a little while ago somewhere, and there are loads more pics on the Luxaflex website. Can we? YES WE CAN!!!!! Re: Any thoughts on these "verticals"? 11Apr 19, 2009 7:12 am Oooh I just checked out the website and they all looks nice. All look very exy though I want something on my windows that I can stop the sun coming in throughout the day and privacy at night. These things would fit the bill nicely Know where your going in life............... you may already be there Re: Any thoughts on these "verticals"? 12Apr 19, 2009 8:20 am I suppse each to their own But I was thinking along the lines of you Taffy that I wanted something that would allow light in with out being to see right into the house and thought that these might to the trick, especially with three sets of sliding doors. I was thinking of getting double roller blinds for the sliding doors but a lady at Spotlight had said if anything just get blockout roller blinds for each side of the door as it will not stcik out as much. I will have to give them and a call and see how much they are, I would not have thought for them to be that expensive, but will be sure to find out Re: Any thoughts on these "verticals"? 13Apr 19, 2009 4:42 pm Helyn Well, I quite like my sooo 80's verticals, they match my sooo 1993 pergola Although I really don't like verticals!
