Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Apr 02, 2009 7:52 pm Hello all, We will be building a 42 square double storey house, hopefully in the next few months. We are thinking of double glazed western red cedar timber windows for all the windows. I know that wrc timber is very pricey and I'll be sure to be sitting down when our builder calls letting us know the price. Does anyone have a rough estimate how much the timber windows might cost? I have also seen beautiful timber lined porches and alfrescos (comdain homes is a good example) and would like to know how much this costs as well. I've tried ringing landscapers (for the porch and alfresco) and I can't seem to get a straight answer. They all say that "it depends" and that they have to come and see the area and quote accordingly. Even though I tell them the area, they're not happy to give me an estimate...If anyone knows, I would love to hear from you. Thanks for taking the time to reply!
