Re: Light door or dark door? 13Mar 23, 2009 1:06 pm I like the dark door. We wanted a dark door, but due to the direction that our house faces - west - we were 'advised' to go with a lighter colour. In fact if we chose to stay with the dark coloured door, we would have had to sign a waiver saying that we made the choice and that the builder isn't liable if the door swells/cracks or warps as a result. We ended up going with the light colour. If we don't liike it after handover we'll paint or replace it. And i personally hate cleaning.. i refuse to have any white in my house because it shows dirty easily, the only white thing is our ceiling! Definately the dark door!
