I'm sure it's intended for single glazing use. I checked the WERS website for Trend Windows (selected one at random) and of the 41 windows with ComfortPlus specified, 39 are single glazed and 2 are double glazed. The recommendation for using low-e only in double glazed units would apply for when the low-e is on the outside surface. ComfrotPlus has the low-e coating on the inside. Anyway, that's my take on it.
