Double glazed aluminium windows-doors- slimline?

Hi there! I’m new to this forum so hope for some help. I’m just getting quotes for double glazed aluminium windows and doors for our renovations so far I got:
Rylock
Stegbar
Trend
Green life Windows&doors
Bradnams
Midcoast windows
Architectural aluminium

The cost is anything from 38-68k!! I’m a bit at a loss how to know whether 68k is really better than the cheaper options…
Opinions? I do like slimmer profile from the design perspective but energy efficiency is important.
We have a combo of stacker doors, sliding windows, hinged doors… I did really like Rylock customer service and are on the top but maybe a bit chunky?

Anyway, any tips would be so much appreciated. I’m located in Sydney’s northern beaches, thanks!

Are they all thermally broken? If not, don't waste your money. Look for thermally broken and low E glass.

There are other double glazed options out there. Do some more research.

Apart from aesthetics, the only thing that matters is the performance of the window.

I have no idea of your window requirements, if they all have compliant offers, the vast difference in price is unlikely to be reflected in the performance.

Disregard the technology, thermally broken or not is not relevant, only performance matters, and even then it's the window that counts, not the glass, you can fit any glass to any window. Check out the Uw in WERS by looking at only windows with clear glass in both outer and inner panes, that is the only way to compare windows.

Don't go PVC.

I don't know them all, the first 2 top of your list are best known. Rylock is a good company, Stegbar is for sale.

Whatever you do avoid Wideline and Stegbar.
