I've recently had some windows installed, and the larger ones are causing the bottom window reveals to bend upwards significantly. I suspect this is partly due to weight, as the glass and frames are not supported by anything other than the timber reveal, but also improper packing.
The photos below were taken before the builder attempted to fix this by simply screwing down the reveals, which now results in a very wavy looking reveal (sorry, no pictures of this).
What would have caused this issue in the first place, and what's the correct way to resolve it?
