Browse Forums Windows & Doors Re: Front Door Colour (Dulux equivalent to Caoba) 6Feb 06, 2024 9:19 pm wildrain Hi, We are currently building a house and wanted some guidance on the colour for the entrance door (made of Meranti Timber). We wanted it to match our garage door which is currently selected as the Caoba colour from Colorbond. While we understand that the Caoba colour is a blend of multiple browns (mostly dark brown), we wanted to know what are the options from the Dulux range which is close enough to it; preferably on the darker side. Appreciate any help you can provide. We are also looking at the stain option however the painter suggested to look at solid colours as an option too hence the question. Thanks in advance. J To match the Caoba color of your garage door, you can consider darker shades from the Dulux range for your entrance door. Look for colors that are deep browns or dark shades that closely resemble the Caoba hue. Your options may include colors like "Chocolate Brown," "Dark Walnut," or "Espresso." These darker shades should complement the Caoba color well and give your entrance door a cohesive look with your garage door. It's also a good idea to test samples in different lighting conditions to ensure the color matches your preferences before making a final decision. Building Standards; Getting It Right!
