Seems from what I can see on the internet standard front doors these days are 2040x820 Obviously a 2040 door isn't going to fit. Before 1966 Australia did not have millimeters and we used the Imperial system invented in England, so a 2040x820 door would not be any standard. Modern frames allow for weather strips, often older frames you need to reduce the door height to install the weather strip. You will be able to remove 20mm from the bottom but I'd probably take 10mm from the top and bottom.
