I live on a busy main road and my current window is letting in too much noise. Due to it being an apartment replacing window isn’t an option. Existing window is in good condition. So looking at secondary glazing option.
Current sliding window: 10.38 acoustic laminate, QLON seals.
Options:
1. Magnetite with 10.5m VLAM hush sliding window 50mm air gap $2500.
2. Soundout sliding air gap of 50mm and VLAM hush through various companies - $2500
3. UPVC casement with VLAM hush. 6.5/14/8.5 and 40mm air gap between first window. $2500
Could anyone provide insight as to which option they think is best?
I am leaning towards Magnetite as they seem to be more well known. But happy to go with either option.
