Hello all just require some information regarding window tinting.
Do standard windows sliding glass doors etc come from the manufacturers with the option of tinting already applied whether in the glass itself or as a film applied after manufacture?
I am thinking that to purchase windows without any tint then applying afterwards from a third party installer would have to be more expensive than just having windows installed right from the start with the tint that I want, if this is how they can be bought / ordered.
Windows and external glass doors would be single glazed black framed common dimensions etc, nothing out of the ordinary.
Any thoughts anyone so I can be better educated?

Are you looking at tinted windows to reduce brightness and/or provide some privacy or are you looking at it for thermal/insulative reasons?
If you are looking at it for thermal/insulative reasons, you may want to investigate low E glass. I am not sure if this provides tinting as well but it might. Worth going to a few local glasiers and having a chat about your options.

How about some decorative film on the window? Will still let light in but obstruct the view of the fence
