Browse Forums Windows & Doors Re: Help with Bay Window replacement 13May 27, 2009 12:27 pm ed @ EcoClassic That was my original point - it looks like your bay windows are 3 separate windows, meaning there is a stud at each corner. That makes it easier. So you install 3 windows rather than one, and the gap/join is covered by timber - as it is now. Ed OK, so looking at your product sizes, if I was looking at double hung, 2 off 1543 x 610 and 1 off 1543 x 1450 - what sort of price would that be delivered to Sydney? Do you have any contacts for installation in Sydney Metro area ? Do you know anything about these suppliers product http://www.easywindows.com.au/ ? Thanks Neil Re: Help with Bay Window replacement 14May 27, 2009 3:01 pm neil100 ed @ EcoClassic That was my original point - it looks like your bay windows are 3 separate windows, meaning there is a stud at each corner. Thanks Neil I am sure that double hung will not provide enough cover for your shutter to attach. I have priced the awning or casement.
1 @ $690 Courier or delivery at cost... Sorry I don't know any installers in Sydney - a carpenter could easily do the job. But he should check measure and specify the size so he takes responsibility. The window co you refer to uses Kommerling so the quality will be good. Thanks Ed "ECOECO" At 'EcoEco', we design windows, we design the best windows, we do it for you, so that when you’re happy we are happy. Regards Neil Re: Help with Bay Window replacement 16May 28, 2009 7:25 am Hmmm there is definitely somthing wrong with the quoting in Homeone - it gets in a knot these days... Anyway, yes, we can do colonial bars in between the glass - BUT only in white. So a timber look with colonial bars is not available. If you PM your address I can send a colour sample in timber...
