I have a question about specifying a concrete floor for a garage. We understand modern waffle pod concrete floor construction can get a bit thin.
I work on my own vehicles and will be needing to jack up sometimes heavy 4WDs. Is there a preferred thickness and reinforcement required for said garage floors?

Hi @D and As new home
There are 2 issues the concrete slab thickness and the polystyrene void former beneath the slab
Have a compacted sand pad put down and the 100mm reinforced concrete raft slab placed on that, internal beam midspan, etc. HTH
