Paving & Concreting

Hi guys & gals,
Installing a 1mtr concrete apron around our QLD home to provide a path and provide a water barrier and correct the fall in some areas. I have spoken with the termite company that installed and inspects our home and they will be providing a secondary treatment (some form of tape and nails) as the concrete path will not be lower than 75mm below the weep hole due to the need to follow existing concrete pads.
I've searched the Internet, can anybody tell me if there is a minimum or best practice height between concrete path (under eaves) and weep holes. Obviously, the weep holes won't be covered, I've seen many paths around work with 10mm distances. Just unsure.
Also, would you recommend expansion joins with a trowel or concrete cuts on exposed aggregate pathways?
