Thanks for the quick reply, doing some searching on terrazzo just then shows mostly exposed aggregate like pebbles where the driveway the photos were of didn't have any sort of rock/stone aggregate in them.
Do you know what would have been used in this mix? Bitumen for the black spots and I can't work out the grey spots. Also it doesn't look like it would be laid the same way as something like pebblecrete.
