Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Aug 04, 2016 9:56 am Hi all, Have just come over from the kitchen forum to ask for some advice. I have had quite a large amount of Boral, concrete Travertine smoke coloured pavers installed in my back yard. approximately 65 square meters. These are a beautiful travertine look alike concrete paver in a 600mm + 600mm. I have sealed them with a water based natural finish sealant. They are light grey in colour. My problem, bats have decided to fly over and bomb a couple of pavers with droppings. Not a huge amount, but I am struggling to remove the stains. The paver is quite soft, so scrubbing with a brush will mark them, and so would a high pressure cleaner. If I had my time over, I wouldn't have purchased such a soft paver (they do mark very easily). I have tried vinegar mixed with bi carb soda, and bleach neither have worked. Boral are not easy to contact to ask - Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Re: Stain on Boral concrete paver - need advice 2Aug 18, 2016 9:00 pm Oh.bat Droppings, I hate its smell. we faced issues from bats and Doves and their droppings always create issues to our kids. I know their droppings will stick like a glue and sometimes we need high-pressure pumps and cleaning liquids to clean it. Now we are using a pavement coating SACT 10, a solvent based acrylic sealer. One of my friend from the US suggested this one as the cleaning over this coating is very easy. You can apply this coating as DIY if you are experienced with the roller brush.
