Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 May 05, 2016 11:20 pm Hey guys im buildn a house and itll be ready in 4wks. My concreter is not sealing our agg. Ive never sealed concrete before just wondering proceedure and steps. Any reccom on a good sealer also for the nice wet look? And how would i work out how much i need. I have approx 177sqm of concrete to cover. Cheers Re: Help sealing exsposed agg 2May 08, 2016 9:24 pm This is what we used on our external concrete, which has a cove finish. On-Crete's SV21 Premium Same Day Sealer the day after. A 20L covers approximately 80-120sqm. http://www.on-crete.com.au/products/SV2 ... aler-6.htm 7 days later we used their SV24 High Gloss sealer. 20L covers approximately 120sqm, but you need to apply 2 coats. http://www.on-crete.com.au/products/Con ... oss-20.htm Most concrete supply stores will carry this. Both products are easy to apply. SV21 went on via roller and SV24 by broom. Make sure you use a solvent resistant roller and broom. They may also make the surface slippery when wet, but with the cove finish it's not too bad. As with all sealers you will need to reseal, but SV21 is resealable after applying Revive 476. http://www.on-crete.com.au/products/Rev ... ler-49.htm After a service my car had some residual oil on something and it leaked on the driveway. Next day it cleaned up using clean water and dishwashing liquid. Red soil stains also just wash right off where unsealed concrete gets stained. Hope this helps!
