Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Nov 30, 2015 11:32 am I've gotten my builders provisional sum items converted to fixed. Soakwells are coming up close to 5.3k and a third party quote i got previously was around 3.5k plus gst. I'm thinking of saving some money and doing soakwella after handover and therefore whether removing the front driveway, crossover and path to portico/front door so the soak wells as per if the builder was doing it, 1 of them can be placed underneath the future paved driveway. Therefore wondering if anyone can recommend a really good paver who can do it all to completion for me as i know nothing about paving. I was originally offered the brikmaker pavers- easypave, vistapave etc so happy with something similar. I like exposed concrete but it appears to be roughly 95/sqm and x 45 sqm i estimeate for just the driveway not incl. Crossover im looking at nearly 4500. It'll be an investment property and the paving credit backs likely to be around circa 2000 otherwise id bite the bullet. Any good qualified pavers to recommend in perth would be much appreciated. Preferably good personality, communication skills and client response/service as i need this quote urgently to see whether to go with the external party or stick with the builder. Had it with the tradies i.e. electricians I've dealt with to date that just aren't interested or hardly respond that's all. I had 28m2 of engineered pavers laid six months back and it was difficult to find someone not taking the pi$$. Internet suggested it should be $85-100/m2 to lay them.… 3 12358 As most others have posted above the install isn't compliant.
