Tiles are 450x450 and the tiler recommends using a screed instead of straight glue because the height of the tiles (8mm) doesn't match the height of the coping (20mm). He's quoted me $80/m2 to do the job ($60 if go straight glue). Is this reasonable? I'm keen to use him for a number of reasons, namely he does good work (he laid the coping for the pool builder) and he can fit my timeframe (I need to finish the tiling/pool fence/boundary fence in order to get the pool certified and finished. Just thought I'd sense check the price here first. Re: Cost to lay tiles - is this reasonable? 3Nov 28, 2015 10:43 pm Is the tiler supplying sundries for that price?
