I've had a driveway of mine widened. It's a paved driveway, and there's quite a mismatch between the appearance of the old and new pavers. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what to do about improving the appearance. The colour of the pavers are the same (or rather, were the same when new), so the difference is down to weathering/fading. It seems to be hard to know how old pavers are until you put new ones next to them
I am currently trying to determine the options I have to try to balance out the appearance. I am considering having the old ones washed/resurfaced in some way to rejuvenate them (but I suspect that still wouldn't have a drammatic effect), or alternatively just painting them. I'm really just looking for some option that might give me a couple of years out of it, and I'll have the whole thing redone with new pavers more to my taste after that.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the most cost effective option for this scenario?
