Im wanting to pave down on side of our house and want to know what is best to use as the base? the area is 15m long and 1.9m wide. I have about 2t on ¼ minus and will get more if need. Been told just put down 40-60mm base of ¼ minus and compact & level this of then lay the pavers but not sure if the way to go? Also what amount of fall away from the house should i aim for? Check for any soft spots like backfilled trenches after you have done the excavation.
