Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Aug 24, 2014 5:22 pm Hi guys, I'm Tony, studying Cert IV in Building & Construction. I got an assignment which research foundation and footing systems by way of a photographic assignment of domestic construction. Report to identify all stages of construction and fully notate all elements (Cut & filled, Excavation, Concrete form works, Vapour barriers placed, Reinforcement & Plumbing, Concreting, and others). However, I found it really hard for me to find out all of these footing systems in a time. Because I don't have a car and I can only borrow my friend car to go out take some pics in a specific day. So if anyone are working on site knew a location that I can find any of these footing systems: Stump pad footing, Strip footing, Stepped footing, Concrete slabs (Stiffened Raft and Waffle Raft), Pier and beam footing, Pile and beam footing. Please let me know the location or help me by take some pictures in details (Including: which soil classifications) and email me via: gapovn@gmail.com (Please including where its located). It would be my appreciate for any or even a little informations. Thank you guys! You will probably find the stepped footings, stumps , strips and stumps footings the hardest to find as the vast majority of footings are slabs now on flat blocks. if you go to clyde nth, berwick waters you will find plenty of slabs some with piers some rigid Re: Urgent: Need help in residential Footing systems 3Aug 25, 2014 9:40 am Thanks for your quick respond! I have found the Waffle Raft (slabs footing) already. The hardest one for me would be the Stump pad footing, Strip footing, Pier and beam footing, Pile and beam footing. ( Are there any places can I find some of these please? Thanks! Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3230 yep sounds good make the footing bigger to to allow for the pipe in the middle 3 7297 PM me your email. I have a build excavation calculator you can use based on your plans to double check what your builder is telling you. Cheers Simeon 1 10206 |
