I have this driveway which sunken over a year and I only just got it relayed last week. But with the crazy amount of rain fall we have these few days, I realized the top left edge of the haunching has its soil washed of, forming a very deep hole underneath the driveway!!
I start to get worried as I don't want the relayed pavers to break or sink. Can anyone see what's wrong??? Could it be overflow of water from the gutter, pouring water down hitting that part of soil? It's really hard to find out the cause because I don't live there... I just can't think of why it happened.

What should I do??? There will still be big rains coming in the next few days, I am so worried!!
Should I mix some concrete and pour it in until it fill up the hole and then use some bedding sand to cover it out on top?? Or can I put some sand bag on top after filling up to block water hitting it again?
