Granite pavers over concrete

Hi All,

After our home is complete, i am planning to have concrete layed around the boundary of the house and a detached alfresco from the house, then at a later stage i would like to lay a 15mm 600mm x 300mm granite paver over the top.

Any recommendations on the levels the concreting should be done, this would also take into consideration can the granite pavers be glued or should a mortar be used? Also how are the pavers layed over expansion joints without paver movement/cracking?

Cheers

Sunshine
There is some advice about finished levels (after the pavers have been laid) here http://www.anewhouse.com.au/2014/02/hei ... ve-ground/

Laying slabs over existing concrete I would tend to use mortar.

Best thing is to lay the concrete with joint spacing to suit the slab size.
Thanks Bashworth

Much a do about nothing. You can see the fall heading to the actual drains. Stormwater ingress will be minimal and it's far better to have the top sitting flush rather…
