Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Feb 08, 2014 7:02 pm Hi, Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for permeable/semi-permeable options for sloping driveways? We would like to have a permeable driveway and we're considering gravel but as the driveway slopes we don't think this would be a good option as all the gravel would end up in ther road! I have been looking at the 'cell' systems where the gravel or other material/plants are contained within individual pockets within the structural sheet, but am not sure how well this would work on a slope? Was considering the ones with grass growing in between as a 'green' option (literally!) but bearing in I niece the condition of most lawns and other grassy areas I see around here (melbourne) I don't think the little pockets of grass would fair so well in the hot weather! Also have looked at some of the resin based gravel systems but don't know how well they hold together on a slope either, does anyone have experience of this? Maybe permeable pavers are the way forward? I'd love to hear of other peoples experiences (good or bad) with permeable driveways and what materials you have used for your sloping driveways? Thanks Different to what others have said but thanks for that insight. 2 5186 Not recommended! The image presented is for a sublevel area.
