Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Oct 18, 2013 10:05 am Hi all. We are doing our first build through ventura. Our slab went down yesterday. Included in our 'package' are block pavers. In our current house our driveway goes down on an angle into the garage and we have those red pavers. We didnt like the idea of more pavers in the new place though thought we would go with it as we can always rip them up at a later date. Now we are considering changing the pavers to coloured concrete. This way, we wont get weeds growing up through it...I guess it wont move. Itll also be able to be painted if needed and easier to hose down. Would love exposed agg but we have blown our budget big time! Any prod and cons either way? Ps location southwest WA ..Much appreciated Re: block pavers vs coloured concrete - anything in between! 2Oct 18, 2013 11:34 am Poured limestone, looks great, no weeds, cool underfoot even in the hottest weather, but for a driveway you would have to look into getting it sealed as it is a natural product and it would absorb the oil spills etc. We've just been discussing pros and cons on viewtopic.php?f=22&t=67681&p=1090493&e=1090493 I had an old shower unit that broke on me and when I took it off, there were only 2 water pipes, instead of the normal 2 water pipes and a shower head pipe.
