My Original house plans had strip footings, but the engineer/draughtsperson said because of the Soil (H2) we will have to have piers under the strip footings.
Can the piers be poured separately, then the strip footings the next day say? Or is the normal process to have the piers and strip footings poured in one hit?
Also we are having a shed slab built which will also have piers where the upright beams will go so there is depth for the chemtech bolts. The same applies would they be done in one hit or separately.
If a building Inspector has to look at the footings/reo etc on the house before the concrete is poured would this also apply for the shed base?
The shed base is 24m x 9m, @ 125mm thickness with SL92 mesh.
I hope this makes sense,
