Browse Forums Paving & Concreting Re: Interesting driveway 2Jan 18, 2013 9:28 am That looks like some of those grass-pavers... basically they have 'holes' that go right through, so when laid and the holes filled with soil, you have a surface that is a mix of paver and soil. The idea is you grow grass in the holes and have a hybrid surface. I've usually seen it used where people want to occasionally park cars, don't want to wreck a lawn but don't want concrete either. I haven't seen that pattern though - the one's I've seen were grid like; each paver was a noughts&crosses grid. Land settled May '14.
