Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Jan 07, 2013 9:24 am Recently started laying bluestone pavers around a pool on a freshly poured concrete slab. Slab poured on the Friday and customer wanted pavers to start being laid on the Monday - this was a couple of weeks before Christmas when temp was in 30s.. started paving as requested and a large number of the pavers have since popped. I think this is due to slab absorbing moisture from the pavers etc but am looking for a technical explanation for homeowner...cheers Re: Bluestone pavers popping - fresh slab 2Jan 22, 2013 7:19 pm How did you lay them, adhesive or mortar?
