Can't comment on the tiles but have installed the trex decking for customers and it is very good. Trex is definitely one of the best composite decks available. It has a hard wearing surface that is very colour fast and stain resistant. It also has a 25 year guarantee. If you are after trouble free decking I'd say it is worth it, just not cheap. I guess the choice comes down to your preference for decking or hard finish. Thanks. Just not sure what would be better. Just want some feedback from people who had it for a while. I know normal decking looks terrible (old and worn) after a few years if not maintained at all. On the other hand, not sure if it's true but want to know if putting tiles would make place look bigger than trex decking. Certainly it probably look more spacious since decking will lift the floor up and tiling won't.
