Hi,
I have a lot of areas around my house with low retaining walls and step risers made of clay bricks laid with mortar 2-3-4 courses high. These areas are paved with concrete pavers laid so that they overhang the edges of the brickwork, with the pavers along the edge having been layed on the brickwork with mortar or cement (before my time here).
The paving is now around 25-30 years old, and a lot of the pavers along the edge are coming unstuck from the brickwork underneath them. Generally the mortar / cement is staying stuck to the pavers but letting go cleanly from the bricks. I don't want to repeat this when I go to all the trouble of re-fixing them, so any and all advice would be appreciated - what is the best way to re-lay them onto the brickwork so they don't come unstuck again?
Many thanks.
