Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Nov 22, 2011 1:20 pm Hi everyone, I’m attempting a paving job for the first time therefore my query may appear rather amateurish as I seek some guidance. So, here goes… I have two rectangular spaces I want to pave in my backyard: one measures 5.6m x 3.5m, the other 4.9m x 3.1m and they will be over two levels, so there will be a step between them. Assuming that I already have the pavers and will be carrying out the labour myself, I’m trying to work out the following: •Materials and equipment needed; •Quantities of materials; •Estimated cost; •Any additional information. I’ve read through various paving threads but as I mentioned I’m a novice, so if anyone has the time to provide a step-by-step layman's guide on what I need to do, that would be much appreciated. If more information is required, let me know and I will gladly provide it.
