Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Nov 09, 2011 10:13 am Hi, I am going to buy a 10 year house. But my building inspecter told me back left hand corner of the house slab has dropped approximately 2mm causing the brickwork to move away from the window about 4-5mm. He said it's fairly minor settlement and not overly concerned as the house about 10 years old and also there is no corresponding movement in the en-suite area. Is it a serious problem? Do I still need buy this house? How much does it cost to repair this. Thanks. Re: Slab Movement 2Nov 09, 2011 1:13 pm Quote: Is it a serious problem? Do I still need buy this house?
