Will look beautiful, and resist oil/grease staining (and not wear off as easily as paint does). Re: How should concrete slab in garage be finished off? 12Oct 03, 2011 4:54 pm eyspy Solver and Dulux make a paint in various colours. It's simply called paving paint. It's around $100 for a 4 litre tin. Awesome! Thank you! Re: How should concrete slab in garage be finished off? 13Oct 03, 2011 7:24 pm kel stormy what concrete seal/paint do you buy to seal your garage floor? is this the same used for driveway? thx Hi Kel, We used a product called Staseal from Concreters Warehouse in Melbourne (not sure if they are Aust wide). We mixed half the can with xylene, which helped the product to penetrate the surface (used a stiff broom to apply). Second coat was just the paint. In the two years since we did it, it has worn off in a few places (mainly where the car tyers sit) but it is a garage, after all, and has worked brilliantly! So easy to sweep and no dust in the house. There are plenty of threads here on the forum discussing various garage floor sealers. Mine probably isn't the 'best' but for us it's worked well! We havent done our driveway yet but we will have colour through the concrete, where as the sealer we used is a medium grey colour. (Sorry, couldn't edit my last post on the phone, it was too long!)
