Can anyone tell me what exactly this all means because Ive had a independant, highly qualified architect tell me there should be no additional costs as he has all our plans, soil tests etc and now this below means more money. And the costings, is it about the going rate?
(Copied from paperwork below)
"Slab requires 400mm deep edge beams, in lieu of standard 200mm, totaling $1,504.00 extra, however according to the site plan there is to be some cut and fill, may require AG drains, I would prefer to raise the rear of the slab, in lieu of cut, so there is no problem with water ponding at the front or flooding, Raising the slab will cost around $800.00"
Anyone? I dont want to sound like a idiot ringing the builder to ask.
Thanks
