Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Jul 21, 2011 11:26 pm Not sure if I have put this in the right place.... feel free to move it. Anyhow, my house is nearing completion. Before handover the builders are going to pave my driveway. My block is part of an estate where the retaining walls were done by the estate and I am on a slightly steep part of a hill. My driveway is going to be built on a part of the crossover that looks particularly prone to erosion and I'm unsure how stable the driveway is going to be. Here's a pic to help things along. The end of my retaining wall which my garage is built right on top of slopes down at around 45 degrees. Is the driveway going to need retaining? or will the pavers be enough? The neighbour downhill has a designated driveway on my side of his property so will also need to ensure there is no erosion from my block, however I'm not sure the block has even been settled yet so I'll have a hardtime chasing money frm them to help out. The other side also has a similar drop and erosion problem, however it's not much of a concern yet.
