After some urgent advice please anyone
I'm getting concrete poured tomorrow to front of house, and there is a 100mm I.P. in the pathway. This is no dramas as I was just intending on having a 100mm bolted cap to be flush with top of concrete.
However, the concreting company has stated this this must be 150mm bolted cap screw as per Australian standards, (to allow for someone to put there hands down etc?) and in using 100mm would be 'illegal'. He said that if I was to use 100mm then that would be at my own risk and void and problems that may occur in the future.
Using the 150mm cap also causes a massive gap around the IP pipe which im not too sure about either??
I am in Adelaide - surely this is a bit far fetched - has anyone heard of this?
I will post some pics shortly
