I've done a couple of jobs around Camberwell and Caulfield where the owners have had new houses done with this finish, another with an existing older ordinary concrete floor which did have the odd hairline crack in it, but it did suit the older house. One of the builders did mention it make the chippies whinge a bit during construction as they had it ground down 1st and had to protect the floor from scratches, marking etc during the build. Good result though Planned Landscape Constructions http://www.plannedlandscape.com.au Find us on facebook http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id= ... 9907611509 Re: A piece of concrete... polished 7May 24, 2011 1:18 pm Look fantastic This is exactly what we wanted! Same same, I have already developed heart problem during this build, and I don't need to make it any worst I wonder why would people want any other flooring when you can have something this good with such good price. Looks bloody awesome onc Built: Modified H3nl3y S0h0 Q1 in Melbourne :- Never again Re: A piece of concrete... polished 17May 25, 2011 4:44 pm just Erin We're waiting to find the perfect 5 acres... Personally I'd like 10+ I once took a pen to a Melways to show the specific area I wanted and ended up at 200 acres Timeline really depends on how the cards play(literally) Although the budget doesn't leave much time for poker. Too much working Re: A piece of concrete... polished 18May 25, 2011 9:53 pm EmeryBB chrisandkate I I wonder why would people want any other flooring when you can have something this good with such good price. To my understanding early saw cuts are to control shrinkage cracks, so doing them now would be pointless. Control joints may reduce ugly cracking during periods of soil… 3 9830 Hi all I need a guidance on how far I need to space expansion joints in the concrete driveway and its type (keyway/foam.) Contraction joints are at 3m max for a 125 slab. Thanks 0 10926 |
