I am building a single story house with a 300mm split and the slab pour was to occur yesterday (day before easter friday) after earlier postponements . I received a call in the morning that they would only be pouring the top section as the pump broke, delaying the pour by one hour. So they poured the top half only, and they would finish after Easter (on Wednesday). My opinion is they wanted to head off early for an early long weekend.
Has this caused there to be an increased potential for future cracking along this split? Should I be concerned?
