Hi all... being new to concreting/block walls I have the following question for advice please...
I am currently digging a footing for a front fence which will be 500mm high using concrete 200 series grey blocks. The fence wall will be 'broken' by an entrance way with steps leading from the footpath to our wooden stairs. It will require steps and a landing or two with approximately two steps. On either side will be concrete blocks (at 90 degrees from the front fence) to frame the stairs/landing. My question is do I complete the block wall first then create concrete steps, or should I form up the steps/landing first and then lay blocks either side afterwards?
Many thanks,
Richard
