Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Feb 28, 2011 10:16 pm first of all, not sure if this is the right section i should be putting this on , so apologies if it this is the wrong place for this post.. i am trying to put some drainage around the house to prevent water pooling when we get heavy rains. will dig a trench and use 90mm stormwater pipes. they will be to the side of the pathways (crushed rock w/ tuscan topping) so i don't think they will get heavy foot traffic.. question is how deep should they be? thanks.. Lay the pipe on the bottom of the trench and place sand alongside and over pipe. Best job is to water it in. The trench can then be backfilled with soil if its garden or crushed rock if its under the path. The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get !
