I have a 24 sq coloured concrete area outside our sliding door this has been saw cut into 400mm squares the problem is the last 400mm or so close to the house is slightly lower than the rest so when it rains even though its under cover the water runs down the saw cuts and builds up against the house around 5-8mm in depth as i am about to apply a coloured sealer am i best to make saw cuts towards outer edge of area deeper to stop water running back to house or can i apply a mortar mix/or cement mix near house to build it up and colour as per rest of area as i have the concrete colour at home.
Will the cement or mortar stick to existing concrete?
