Hi, I am so torn. Had pretty much decided on paving the backyard but I keep stalling in going ahead. Just this doubt about whether concreting may be better. It's really doing my head in. I walk around the streets looking at paving and concreting LOL I guess I see lots of examples of both good and bad. Most people seem to concrete, not much in the way of paving (excluding all the obvious DIY's wonky moss filled paths to the letterbox gone bad ). Or maybe that's an omen, maybe that's just the way paving goes with time.
I know there are pros and cons of both paving and concreting I've gone through the archives and read lots about them, but I'm still stuck. What is going to stand the test of time in 5 or 10 years down the track? Appearance wise. I wont be sealing the (concrete) pavers but the stenciled concrete would be sealed. I don't want the upkeep of sealing really. I just want something that is going to be low maintenance and stay reasonably clean. I keep thinking the concrete will clean up easier and not as likely to hold stains, marks, etc.
Any thoughts? Just to confuse me even more
