DIY-Cap stones

Hi

I have around 14 brick pillar (400 X 400) fence with timber infill around my house. I am planning to install capping stone on top the brick pillars. I am new to this. Any DIY advice?

It seems like site has exceeded the quota for attaching the pictures. I found one on google which is pretty similar to mine except timber infill between columns. Appreciate any advice you can provide.
