Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Dec 13, 2010 1:34 pm Hello, Can anyone suggest a good paving sealer for concrete pavers that gives them a wet loo without being slippery? Could it also be used on our red brick path? Thanks in advance. Re: Recommend a good wet look paving sealer 2Dec 13, 2010 3:56 pm What your asking is something that goes hand in hand unfortunatley. Wet = slippery. (most of the time) We have a non slip option that has been tested to AS/NZ standards. I recommend doing a sample first to make sure you like the look and non-slip option. Also, depending on how your pavers are finsihed you may actually get away with a standard wet look if the paver is rough enough. One major thing to know is that a wet look is not breathable. So if there is moisture or salts under the pavers/substrate, there is apossibility that it can rise to the surface and pop the sealer off. You must make sure that the substrate is dry and free of mositure to apply a surface sealer. Hope this heaps, if your in Melbourne, look me up or pm me. Happy to help futher if needs be. All sorted guys. Just needed to buy a blade with the correct bush. Dunno how to delete this post, can't find any help file.
