Browse Forums Paving & Concreting 1 Nov 15, 2010 9:56 pm What is the best material floor pavers for the backyard? I don't mind paying extra money for the best.. Brick, Sandstone, Limestone, Glass, Marble, Other?? I am basically looking for something that Looks Nice.... and can take the hot Western Australian summers without major damage over time. Must be attractive yet strong enough to have a backyard party where people can have a beer, drink or two. Any tips from experts or experienced people here would be appreciated.. cheers!! Re: Pavers for Backyard 4Nov 18, 2010 6:10 am We just did a job in Vic with a paver from WA called Bermuda Shell. Its a limestone from Fremantle Stone and its got bits of shells and coral in the paver. Its smooth to touch and doesnt heat up as much as other pavers seem to. It costs about $160/m2 though, but looks pretty awesome. Re: Pavers for Backyard 5Nov 21, 2010 2:18 am Joel_Landscaper We just did a job in Vic with a paver from WA called Bermuda Shell. I won’t do sand under pavers and will connect all up under pavers, however I was going to do: 1) Roadbase compacted with manual hand tamper 2)… 10 18563 Those span tables can be pushed a little for a low deck if you dont mind a little flex. Last deck I did, I pushed it a little and it was still rock solid - no noticeable… 6 13761 |
