Hopefully one of the experts out there can tell me the pro's and con's of having the colour mixed through the concrete as against just a top coloured layer? I am getting conflicting advice as to what lasts longer and fades least..

Thanks Re: Coloured concrete- mixed or top layer? 2Nov 15, 2010 9:16 pm oxide in conc will fade so it needs sealing, casting top of conc. with coloured hardener will also fade so it needs sealing. only colourer sealing on plain conc. will need to be re done every few years but so do all other sealing on oxide or hardener. To save money get plain conc. and colour seal if it chips you will see grey conc. so you will need to touch up.
