Anyway I used a paint brush with some Xylene and feathered around the edges to start, and then long stroked over the area. the Xylene "dissolves" the sealer aound the area, and then the long stroke cover with a thin layer of sealer. This part is to blend in the stained and unstained area. I would then reaseal a large section of the driveaway, and i think you would hardly notice, if at all. Comments? You are spot ozbeg. If this is an acrylic sealer as has been mentioned, the main component is solvent. Most Acrylics are xylene based as mentioned above. The xylene will re-active the coating allowing you to strip the sealer off. No need to buy or hire anything. Just make sure you wear a mask as xylene stinks. Once you have stripped/removed that section, you can then re-apply the coating over that area. It will not show if done correctly. |
