We are having a tiled alfresco area (under roof line with 3 doors opening onto..almost like and outdoor room) in the same tile as our indoor tile We want to extend our outdoor are much further (like 5 x 10m) We can't have it tiled in same tile as it is an indoor tile as area is not covered......so..... wondering what it would be like to have it done in exposed agg???? Does anyone have tiled and exposed agg outdoor areas... any pictures?? Am stressing because it is such a big area...and since it's concrete can't really change my mind if it doesn't look good!!! So you already have a slab for that extension done? Oh, probably naybe not since you're looking at EA And would you remove any walls/obsrtuctions between the new and current outdoor area, to be like 1 big area? Anyway, have you thought about pavers? There are some very nice tile-like pavers. I personally wouldn't want EA if any of the area is going to be enclosed - just a personal thing. My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... Specially the 'close shave' as there is less dirt entrapment. Where you are coming from is where you are going to... I get flashbacks of pictures of old EA in enclosed areas and the feeling is not nice. Just a personal thing.
