It's no wonder your so upset. I hope you can seek justice and have the problem recified Dear J.K. Rowling, Your books are entirely unrealistic. I mean, a ginger kid with two friends? Sincerely, Anonymous Re: HELP!!! Worst concrete ever - photos added 28Jul 11, 2010 5:15 pm That's *disgusting* quality control - absolutely awful "work". Perhaps posting a company name at some point (not pushing for it, but at some time) might be a good idea? Might save someone else from the same nightmare. (But hold off until you are sure of your own legal standing, of course.) I'm APALLED at the photos. Sorry you are having to deal with the aftermath of this person's complete unprofessionalism. Ugh! Worst concrete ever - photos added 30Jul 11, 2010 5:27 pm That's terrible Katey. I'm appalled at the fact that this guy is operating a business. Re: HELP!!! Worst concrete ever - photos added 31Jul 11, 2010 5:32 pm That is atrocious!! I can't believe he asked for more money! It looks like the whole lot needs to be ripped up and replaced. Good luck with your case against him. Re: HELP!!! Worst concrete ever - photos added 32Jul 11, 2010 5:36 pm Oh geez Katey that is a terrible job! I certainly know how you feel, had a similar experience (with our car not house) to you with ** people. I hope it all works out for you. We are currently in the middle of our battle aswell. Had to go to the Law Institute aswell and make a complaint. Let us know how you go Re: HELP!!! Worst concrete ever - photos added 36Jul 11, 2010 6:19 pm I'm truly lost for words - what on earth was this imbecile smoking the day he did your concreting? kateypink I'm really sorry this has happened to you, it's just astonishing... this isn't just a bad job, it's a complete *bleeep* up! Hopefully you haven't paid the bill yet? I honestly wouldn't be paying him a single cent!! I have my fingers crossed for you that it gets sorted out quick-smart. Re: HELP!!! Worst concrete ever - photos added 37Jul 11, 2010 6:28 pm What the hell was he thinking?? I would absolutely pursue every legal avenue you have open to you. One would think there wouldn't be a magistrate in this country who wouldn't rule in your favour with only the first picture as evidence "DO NOT COVER" generally means, DO NOT COVER. I would also send those pics to service central or whatever it is called and advise them that you are seeking legal advice and compensation. If they are clever, they will at least suspend his registration pending an outcome. Geez, just send those pics to anyone and everyone you can think of. Thats just crap Oceanic with Nautilus upgrades. Handover 8 September 2010 Re: HELP!!! Worst concrete ever - photos added 38Jul 11, 2010 6:38 pm I was short of time in my earlier post - Yes that is a cr@p job. Lazy good-for-nothing toerag & bad for the industry. That needs sooo much work to begin with and much that needs removal and reinstatement. How did you pay them or was there money up front? They need to be bagged... and that other site needs reeming But who am i to judge? I don't like the way the concrete is 'placed' in a shabby way and a 'stamp' used to make it look something else. Though that is another issue. I wonder what the site would do is there provision for comments? So others don't get caught.... BTW if the person that did the work put a 'handle' on the stamp the finger marks would not happen. Where you are coming from is where you are going to... Re: HELP!!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I am desperately hoping someone can come and cut a one inch section between the wall and concrete and clear the weep holes. I cant bear the thought of having it ripped up and redone! Re: HELP!!!
