Is there a sealer I can apply that will stop this happening?The pavers are concrete with a granite type finish. Thanks Re: Water washing out grout from pavers 2Mar 14, 2010 11:33 am It sounds like there is weak grout in your paving. I presume it was a wet grout that was installed (ie. a sand:cement mix)? If cement content is low it will wash out easier as the proporsions are sandier than it should be. If the pavers have been just infilled with dry fine sand, that will run out as well. Sealer won't fix the problem, you will need to fix the area 1st and make the grout harder before you can seal.
